About the role:
Join K Health as we partner with the nations top rated hospital systems to close care gaps by launching completely Virtual Comprehensive Care Clinics. We are looking for full-time, Primary Care Clinicians who will deliver fully remote chat and video based, comprehensive clinical care encompassing preventive care, sick visits, and chronic condition management. The ideal candidate has state licenses in WI, MN, and IA. You will be responsible for maintaining strong rapport with your patients, representing K Health and our clinical partner, while providing world class remote care. You must be a board certified Family Medicine physician and be comfortable practicing the full spectrum of comprehensive care, including mental health. Work from the comfort of your own home and deliver care to those who need it the most, backed by K Health's cutting edge Clinical AI Platform. Our virtual clinics are supported 24/7 by a dedicated team of Care Concierge, Clinical Operations, and technical support staff greatly reducing your administrative burden.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide on demand Acute Care, and scheduled Primary Care
- Educate patients on appropriate treatments and care plans for their health needs
- Manage patient follow ups for chronic care programs
- Co-manage patients with external partners within our healthcare delivery model
- Prescribe medication and refills as appropriate
- Drive high quality care with a focus on patient outcomes
- Elevate remote care by providing compassionate and meaningful patient care
- Collaborate with Clinical Team Members to build clinical guidelines and policies
- Perform against challenging goals with a best-in-class team to deliver Quality Care-Efficiently
- Adhere specifically to all company policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations and laws.
- Display dedication to position responsibilities to achieve assigned goals and objectives.
- Represent K Health and our partners in a professional manner and appearance at all times.
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of post residency work experience
- State licenses in WI, MN, IA (WI & MN is a must have to start)
- Board-Certified Family Medicine
- Primary care experience and behavioral health experience, ability to treat both acute and chronic care conditions
- Should be tech-savvy, proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and have telemedicine experience
- Clean background and medical malpractice history
- Willing to commit 40 hours, 36 clinical, per week, including two weekend days a month
