Azalio is an early-stage startup on a bold mission to change the future of work for front-line workers. We are a small team that recently closed a funding round of $2M. Our software currently solves workforce management and retention problems for small and medium retail businesses across the US. We work with customers like Dunkin Donuts, Subway, Susie Qs and other franchises. Everyone on our team is passionate about improving the experiences of the business owners, managers and employees we work with. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prospecting activities to identify and generate a pipeline of potential customers
  • Utilize various channels such as social media, industry databases, and cold outreach to identify and qualify leads.
  • Engage with prospects through various communication channels (phone calls, emails, social media) to understand their needs, qualify their interest and intent, and assess their fit as potential customers.
  • Track and maintain accurate records of all sales-related activities using CRM software
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to align strategies, share customer insights, and contribute to the overall growth of company

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales development or customer-facing roles is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and build relationships with prospects.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Familiarity with startup environments and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing atmosphere.
  • Knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
