Job Summary:
Vendor rebate Team Lead who is primarily responsible for managing reconciliation team.
Should possess previous experience with calculation of vendor rebates, accounting the same, reconciling the receipts against receivables. Supervising / monitoring the team’s performance against KPIs. Good knowledge on analysis and reporting daily, monthly dashboard. Work closely with the onsite counterparts and other related teams based on need. Lead, collaborate, coach, and develop team members.
Essential Job Duties:
• The primary responsibility would be to ensure that the department performs accurate & timely reconciliation of receipts from vendor and ensure rebate receivable balance is accurate.
• Directly supervise 3-5 team members
• Responsible for delivering the agreed KPIs for the team’s activities.
• Ensure they are provided with challenging goals and objectives.
• Monitor their performance through periodic reports and metrics.
• Provide feedback and counseling when necessary to team member and help improve performance.
• Engage with the business owner and internal support functions in seeking effective and efficient problem resolution with the objective to implement long term permanent solutions.
• Responsible for ensuring departmental procedures are always properly maintained and kept up to date.
• Identifies continuous process improvement opportunities to promote standardization and improve efficiency.
• Help team members in resolving domain and language dependencies.
• Achieves results by leading their team members with a collaborative mindset.
Basic Qualifications (Minimum Required Experience, Education, Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Essential Physical Demands):
Education & Experience: Graduate degree in B.Com/BBM. MBA / Mcom will be preferred. Minimum of 6-8 years of experience of which at least 2-3 years should have been in a supervisory role.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Team Leadership & Coaching, Team Management, Operational Management, Reporting Management, Excellent in written and verbal communication.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: Must have the ability to work under conditions of frequent interruptions and be attentive to detail. Ability to listen and be able to work comfortably under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 6-8 years of progressive experience
• Excellent English communication skills both - spoken & written.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable , Accounts Receivables and vendor rebate is essential.
• Good at analytical skills. Eyes for details.
• The ability to multi-task
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Detail oriented problem solver
• Ability to work pro-actively, individually and as a team along with the rest of the department in order to achieve department goals and KPI’s
