About the role:
homebldr is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team on a part-time, commission-based basis. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for setting up meetings and product demos between prospective clients and homebldr leadership. You will engage with residential real estate investors, agents, and wholesalers to gauge interest for our investment and renovation solutions. Your primary goal will be to generate leads, qualify prospects, and help close sales.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a business development or sales role/internship or other entrepreneurial experience (bonus if its in real estate)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with potential clients
Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple leads and prioritize activities
Self motivated but able to work as part of a team
Availability to work on a part-time bases with flexible hours to accommodate client meetings and sales activities during the workday
Responsibilities:
Prospect and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling and emailing
Qualify leads and identify potential clients by conducting research and analyzing their needs
Schedule product demos between leads and homebldr leadership and follow up with leads when necessary
Collaborate with other Business Development & Sales Representatives on campaign messaging and sales content
Follow up with leads and prospects to build relationships and convert them into clients
Update customer relationship management (CRM) system and other tools to track and report on sales activities and progress
Attend company meetings and training sessions to stay up to date on new solutions, milestones, and progress updates
Communicate with homebldr leadership through communication platforms like Slack during the work week
Note: This is a commission-based role only with no hourly wage. The commission rate will be based on performance and will be paid with every sale closed.
