GTM.gg is building marketing and analytics software for web3 gaming companies. Our platform provides data analytics that help gaming companies understand their players better and make data-driven decisions to improve player engagement and retention. We are an early stage, venture backed company based out of San Francisco. We have a product, customers, and an engineering team.
As a Chief Technology Officer, you will lead our technology team in developing and implementing our SaaS platform. You will be responsible for the overall technical direction of the company and will play a key role in shaping the product roadmap. You will work closely with the executive team in person, and will help shaping the strategy of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of our SaaS platform for gaming companies.
- Manage and develop the technology team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with other departments and customers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Work with the product team to develop a product roadmap that aligns with the company's overall strategy.
- Oversee the architecture, design, development, and testing of the platform.
- Manage the deployment and ongoing maintenance of the platform, including ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics, gaming, and SaaS.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience with data pipelines, analytics, and B2B SaaS platforms.
- An outstanding software architect who keeps track on the latest technology and trends.
- Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and willing to work from the office several times a week.
- Flexible, agile, and biased for action.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Expereince with Javascript, nodeJS, ReactJS
Nice to have:
- Strong understanding of gaming industry trends and technologies.
- Have worked in Marketing SaaS companies, DataOps, ML, Adtech, Blockchain, and gaming companies
- Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS
