Role Overview:
We are seeking a Community Manager who is deeply passionate about financial literacy for women. This is a unique opportunity to get involved with an early-stage company on the ground floor and make a significant impact. As the Community Manager, you will be responsible for fostering community engagement, building relationships with our members, and driving social media interaction. This role is equity-only, perfect for someone who believes in our mission and is looking to grow with us.
Responsibilities:
Build and Moderate the Community: Help create, build, and moderate an engaging Slack community focused on financial literacy and empowerment for women.
Event Planning: Plan and organize weekly virtual events, workshops, and Q&A sessions to provide value to our community members.
Social Media Management: Assist with content creation and engagement on social media platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok to grow and engage our audience.
Community Engagement: Interact with community members, respond to questions, and create meaningful conversations around personal finance topics.
Collaboration: Work closely with the founder and team to align community goals with overall business objectives.
Growth Strategy: Help develop and implement strategies for growing the community and increasing member participation.
Requirements:
Passion for Financial Literacy: A strong belief in empowering women through financial education.
Community Building Experience: Previous experience building and moderating online communities (Slack experience preferred).
Social Media Savvy: Experience managing social media accounts and engaging with audiences.
Event Planning: Comfort with organizing and facilitating virtual events, webinars, and discussions.
Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to create engaging, clear, and concise content that resonates with our community.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Willingness to work in a dynamic, early-stage company and help it grow from the ground up.
Interest in Equity: An understanding that this position is equity-only, with potential for financial reward as the company grows.
