SGNL is looking for top talent to help solve authorization-at-scale for the world's largest companies. This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is a key member of the leadership team.
About You
The right candidate will possess proven skills identifying market trends and opportunities, with experience establishing and developing integration partnerships within enterprise software organizations in a team-centric environment. You distill various forms of research and analysis into actionable insights to be used by the organization to make informed decisions.
You are experienced working with top tier industry analysts and influencers. Your insights are being used to inform strategy, set direction, and prioritize planning. You can clearly and effectively communicate data-informed intelligence across the organization and to senior leadership. You are an excellent communicator. You value diverse perspectives and have a growth mindset.
You will work with analysts to gather insight to inform SGNL solutions and differentiators as well as educate industry analysts on our offerings and messaging. In addition you will initiate and manage technology alliances with key software providers in relevant areas (eg: ERP).
About SGNL
SGNL was founded in 2021 by product and engineering leaders from companies such as Google, Okta, and Microsoft to push the boundaries of what is possible in the enterprise authorization space. We help enterprise companies to make sense of access to sensitive information and ensure the trust of their customers.
SGNL offers an integrated access service for organizations to have a single pane to manage authorization based on role, context, and justification, remediate authorization requests, and prevent anomalous user behavior through modeling expected user behavior across applications.
Basic Qualifications
12+ years of Business Development, Partnerships, or Strategy experience in enterprise software in high-growth software organizations
4+ years of experience working with industry analysts like Gartner, Forrester, IDC
Deep experience with cloud-based software (SaaS) and its functionality
Strategic problem-solver comfortable absorbing information from many external and internal sources and developing it into useful insights and recommendations for the business
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience at an early-stage software startup
Collaboration with leadership to prioritize and develop messaging for analyst engagement
Proven ability to collaborate with executives, business leaders, software engineers, marketers, and product managers
Track record of working independently, but able to both lead and participate in cross-departmental projects
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
