*What You’ll Do *
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for future customers and act as a brand ambassador for OpenComp. You will develop, evaluate and manage all new leads to determine their level of interest and readiness to convert to viable sales opportunities and partner closely with Account Executives to attract customers.
The business opportunities you build will directly grow our sales pipeline and OpenComp’s customer base. If you’re a relentless learner who is excited about joining a founding sales team, we want to chat with you!

- Contribute to sales pipeline development through direct outreach via cold-calling and email prospecting
- Work closely with sales to define outbound campaigns around specific business propositions or market awareness and align customer requirements during the qualification process
- Clearly articulate OpenComp’s business value proposition to assess buying interest and demonstrate passion about transformation and innovation
- Align your activities with quarterly/yearly set qualified sales revenue targets
- Meet monthly/quarterly/yearly KPI’s as required
What You Bring
- 1+ year of proven SDR experience
- Excellent written communication with an engaging phone presence
- Ability to change in response to a rapidly moving competitive environment and to identify and develop sales opportunities
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- High level of attention to details
- Ability to work independently but also as part of a team, sharing information cross-functionally
- Attain a relentless curiosity for how to make things better, a mind for big picture, and the desire to push for something more
- Proficient experience in Salesforce or comparable CRM, Hubspot, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Navigator
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience

This role’s OTE ranges from $77k - $90k USD + equity

Salary We assess both candidates and employees based on skills, performance and respective labor markets to determine our baseline salary and equity ranges. Our salary and equity ranges are based on benchmark companies at similar stages of funding and industry. Currently, we offer one rate anchored to the Bay Area labor market regardless of where someone is located within the US. We strive to deliver above median cash and upper quartile long term equity value to all of our employees, and will shift our market benchmarks and overall compensation strategy accordingly over time.

Compensation Decisions
Individual placement against these targets will be based on role, level of experience and assessment during the interview process. We recognize and reward high performance, tenure and organizational impact. Our performance metrics are measured against both company goals as well as individual performance. Outsized results will result in outsized increases in compensation. We commit to reviewing the base salaries of our employees annually at minimum to ensure that we stay in alignment with our competitive target positioning above.
