Sales Development Representative - Intern

Role Overview

The Sales intern will complete all tasks assigned by the manager, which may include conducting market research, identifying business opportunities, managing email campaigns, generating sales leads, making cold calls, participating in meetings, and assisting the Sales department wherever possible.

Your First 3 months:

1. Leadgen - Find the right companies we should reaching out, get email of the different prospects + write 2-3 lines to help personalize the email
2. Reach out to them through linkedin, email, twitter. Leverage connections of the team - explore 2nd degree of the full team.
3. Find partners like ATS, HRMS - write very detailed cold email and find all possible connections to the company from our company + investors + advisors.
4. Start joining demos and write down minutes, engage with clients, pitching/explaining about company’s verticals, getting involved in generating revenue for the company, scheduling meetings with client’s management.
5. Use content from the blogs we want + all the templates - enable the SDR to build a relationship.

Requirements

1. Knowledge into Sales, Business Development, or Operations is an added advantage.
2. Cold-calling knowledge preferred.
3. Knowledge of business process, roles, and organizational structure
4. A self-starter with a track record of successful & credible achievements
5. Proficient in using Social media platforms like LinkedIn.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7. Strong organizational, engaging personality and time management skills
8. Ambitious, results-oriented and target-driven mentality

Please Note - This is a full time internship opportunity and the candidate should be available for a minimum duration of 9 months.

Asynchronous communication methods help you stay connected with your co-workers and make sure that everything is running efficiently, irrespective of place, time zone, or at-home diversions.

Being in an asynchronous mode of communication asks dedication and commitment from each of the team members. We expect the commitment towards the same from all team members by responding to slack messages in a timely manner and being responsive over emails. Present all information on Slack without the need for second-guessing and extrapolation from other team members.

Wherever there is a need for synchronous communication with team members, coordinate well in advance and block each other's calendars to minimize scheduling conflicts.
