*About Role (Founding team - Sales Development) *
We are looking for a seasoned enterprise business development leader who is keen to join as a founding team member. If you have been executing business development generation activities but are now interested in owning the end to end goal from strategy to planning to execution, then this role is for you.
Someone who has marketed to CIO,Dev, DevOps, CISO, tech ecosystem at the enterprise level would be a great fit. He/she will get the opportunity to bootstrap the business development department. You will be the first hire in this department.
Overarching Responsibilities
SDR
- You will help set up and manage the process for SDR outreach and implement industry best practices for SDR teams
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for lead generation and follow through with the end-to-end sales process.
- Manage a team of SDRs, mentor and guide them on the process, manage their performance and outcomes.
- Manage both inbound and outbound sales activities.
- You will actively seek out new sales leads and business opportunities through active networking and sending personal, strategic, value-add emails, calls, and social messages (no copying and pasting)
- You will be able to quickly research a company, identify opportunities, and strategize an approach to create interest
- You will profile potential prospects based on predetermined criteria

- Generate leads by attending strategic events
- Work with marketing & Identify industry events to attend to
- Strategise & execute
- Follow up with leads to setup qualified meeting
*Skills Required *
- Having more than 5 years of experience in leading SDR initiatives in preferably B2B Saas companies.
- Prior experience in technical product sales preferably in B2B Saas companies for US Region.
- Have a clear understanding of the technical products, use cases, customer pain points, and reach out to potential customers for outreach.
- Desire to be in a software sales (full cycle) position as a career progression
- You have a run-through-a-brick-wall level of drive, passion, and desire for results
