The Role
This is a full-time role.
We’re looking for a creative, data-driven Content Designer to join the Product team and help drive a user-centric content strategy. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant experience, ideally within product, government, or digital content.

- User research (40% of time) - Content research with our users using qualitative and quantitative methods. Conducting cohort and retention analysis to inform user insights.
- Editing (10% of time) - Editing a variety of content formats in a fast-paced environment. Contributing ideas on how to scale our content outputs and operations. Applying excellent judgment on how to adapt content standards and guidelines to different contexts.
- Content ideation (10% of time) - Innovating a range of content formats (eg. infographics, quizzes, podcasts, videos, event summaries, resource toolkits, and anything we haven't thought of yet) to enable public servants to share insights with one another and learn new skills.
Essential Skills
- UX research & design: a flair for understanding a user’s journey when they use a product. An ability to help design intuitive, delightful journeys and constantly test them with users.
- Quantitative data analysis, data storytelling, and acting on data collected from analytics tools

- Creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a track record of inventing new things
- Efficiency and the ability to meet regular deadlines
- Smart problem-solver. You must be able to take charge and work out the best way to solve problems which are new to the company, whilst constantly questioning the ways in which we can constantly improve our processes.
Self-aware and adaptable. Our company moves quickly and you will always be doing new things. You need to be self-aware and take charge of your own learning.
Feedback-driven. You’ll be the type of individual who is always striving to improve and, as a result, is constantly soliciting feedback and actively giving this to your peers and reports. We’re building a candid, open culture and it is critical that this person can celebrate that.
Kind and a pleasure to work with. Any role in an ambitious fast moving startup will often be be tough and demanding. We require someone who shows good humour and cares about those around them, whilst still getting the hard work done.
