Helixtap Technologies Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-headquartered technology firm focused on disrupting the Commodities landscape, starting with the Rubber industry. We own and operate a proprietary platform which connects the different participants in the Rubber industry to one another, and facilitates the execution of trades and exchange of information seamlessly. As an independent, industry led digital community, we deliver actionable insight and create value and opportunities across the rubber supply chain.

We’re looking for a driven and intellectually curious Sales Development Representative to join to help make Helixtap Technologies the leader in the commodities space.

You Will:

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities for Helixtap
  • Learn how the commodities market works from the ground up and build the foundation for your career at Helixtap
  • Work with marketing and account executives in to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities in your market segment
  • Demonstrate the value of our offering through phone call, email, LinkedIn and other social media
  • Research your target companies and prepare executive summaries to help develop business opportunities with account executives
  • Diligently update HubSpot, our CRM, to stay current on leads and follow ups
  • Shadow Account Executives and management in meetings and other activities to help you acquire the skills you’ll need for success in the Helixtap sales team
  • Identify channel sales partnerships and business development initiatives to fuel our global growth to support the team
  • Establish and implement systems methods and processes to build scalable commercial capabilities

You should have:

  • BA/BS degree (preferred) and 1-2 years of professional work experience in Sales, Business Development, Client Success, Financial Services, or Headhunting. (preferred, not required)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Fearlessness and tenacity - willing to hop on the phone with new people every single day and explain Helixtap’s value proposition as it relates to each individual you speak with
  • Focus on prospect happiness - set the stage for effective sales follow-up
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • The intellectual capacity to become a guide on international trade in a matter of weeks, and the curiosity to keep learning about all its intricacies for years to come
  • A deep understanding of email communication and efficiency. You keep the inbox at zero
  • You are fluent in English and at least one South East Asian language
