I love the perfect balance between autonomy and support. At the start of my tenure, I felt that my team was very intentional in assigning me work that would allow me to learn without the pressure of making a mistake. Quickly, I felt their support in different ways - sharing resources on how I could dig deeper, long pairing sessions, and being trusted with small, then medium then bigger projects. Now, one year into my tenure, I feel a lot of trust. I can chose my areas of focus. Prioritize my work and advocate for the work that I think the team should work on. It is really easy here to quickly pick up new projects and become a domain expert.
