PBPL operates a jewellery insurance platform (olocker.in or O-Locker) in partnership with leading general insurance companies of India and is ready now to roll out its jewellery ecosystem apps- myjeweller & my jeweller business. The company sees a huge untapped potential in both the b2b and b2c spaces within its chosen domain of Indian jewellery sector.

India’s jewellery sector ( estimated size in upwards of USD 100 billion) , counts almost every Indian household as its customer has been an unorganized sector traditionally but now galloping ahead to becoming organised & main stream. This sector is untapped by technology so far and that’s the gap which PBPL aims to capitalize upon.

The innovative jewellery insurance product conceptualized by us has been hugely successful in making jewellery owning and using far more safer experience. Within 2 years of operation, we have established presence in 18 states across India. By successfully leveraging technology, we have insured more than 6 lac unique jewellery pieces (value in excess of INR 2500 Crores) till date. We have grown our business by 20X between March 2018-20 and continues to operate it profitably & we are the only company with a successful execution model in the lucrative field of jewellery insurance.

The company understands that it holds a unique user base of jewellery owners and retailers and via its upcoming mobile apps, PBPL aims to capture the complete business potential from this hugely lucrative and largely untapped user base. The app christened as MYJEWELLER shall provide an integrated & completely plug-n-play tech platform to all factors of jewellery industry- manufacturers, traders, retailers & end buyers. For its apps, PBPL has already established partnerships with leading players in the field of finance, insurance and consumer spaces. The app is in Beta phase as of now.
