Chtrbox was set up by Pranay Swarup (previously founder of Letsintern), Rohit Raj and Varun Duggirala (founders of The Glitch), Roshan Abbas (MD, VMLY&R Commerce Encompass and Media Personality) and Gaurav Kapur (Founder, Oaktree Sports & Media Personality). In 2021, US-based group QYOU Media Inc acquired Chtrbox to continue fueling its growth as a creator-led media brand in India.
