Mildly Prepared careers

We’re building Mildly Prepared, a collection of hilariously useful kits for people who are trying their best (but mostly failing). Think: a Toddler Airport Survival Kit, or a Grandparent Starter Pack designed to nudge the unprepared into being just slightly more ready for real life.

The problem we’re solving isn’t just "emergency readiness" — it's the anxiety of modern adulthood. Most people aren’t building go bags or stocking bunkers. They're panic ordering snacks before a flight with a toddler. They're searching “how to be a fun grandparent” at 1am. We're giving them low stakes, giftable, slightly unhinged ways to feel a little bit prepared and laugh about it.

Innovation
We’re treating prep and gifting like entertainment. Each kit is a product and a punchline. We back it up with custom image packs, affiliate ready captions, and automated promo tools so anyone can help us spread the chaos and get paid doing it.

How we’re building
We’re using a lean no code stack (Payhip, Tally, MailerLite) to automate our affiliate recruiter funnel. Instead of spending on ads, we’re investing in a community powered growth engine. We’re recruiting affiliate recruiters who then build mini affiliate teams, armed with shareable kits, funny copy, and clear incentives.

No VC, no outside funding. Just proof of concept traction, organic reach across Reddit, Discord, Indie Hackers, and Product Hunt, and the world's most delightfully dysfunctional branding.
