HastraPay is changing that. We're a fraud-aware remittance and digital wallet platform purpose-built for the 500,000
Ghanaians living in the US. Ghana received $4.8B in remittances in 2023 — 6.4% of the
country's entire GDP. Yet the experience of sending that money remains slow, expensive, and
riddled with scams that specifically target diaspora communities. The existing players treat this
as an afterthought. We treat it as the entire mission.
HastraPay combines fast, low-cost cross-border transfers with intelligent fraud detection built
into the core product — not bolted on afterward. Our platform learns the remittance behaviors of
Ghanaian diaspora users and proactively flags suspicious patterns before money is lost. We've
partnered with InyoGlobal and PAL.africa to build compliant, scalable financial infrastructure
from day one.
