Cargoson was founded in 2018 by four people who had spent their careers in logistics and software. Three of the four co-founders held senior roles at DSV Estonia — Aivo Kurik as CFO, Ülari Kalamees as COO, and Tanel Vaarmann as Member of the Board. The technical co-founder, Ranno Maripuu, previously worked as a software engineer at Kuehne + Nagel and Codeborne. The team building Cargoson knows freight from the inside. We're a flat team. There are no layers of management between you and the impact of your work. If you do good work here, it will be visible. We hire people who can think for themselves and ship work. You'll get direction, mentorship, and feedback — but you drive. We don't count hours. We care about quality, ownership, and results. If you do great work, nobody will micromanage how or when you do it. If something looks broken or could be better, you flag it and fix it without being asked.
