Jobs at Airveda
Air pollution is fast becoming one of the biggest health hazards of modern times. Not only is fine particulate matter known to be associated with chronic diseases such as Asthma and lung disorders, and increased risk of heart attacks, International Agency for Research on Cancer has found strong evidence that sustained exposure to PM 2.5 (solid dust-like particles, or ‘Particulate Matter’, less than 2.5 millionths of a metre across) is now a leading cause of cancer.
We, at Airveda, believe that clean air is a fundamental human right and is as essential as clean water or uncontaminated food for a human body. Although a long term solution to air pollution can be achieved only by collaborative actions of government, industry, monitoring agencies and individuals, a beginning needs to be made by providing people real time information of their exposure to such air toxins. Airveda has developed an air quality monitor using the most advanced laser based monitoring technology available that can help people understand their exposure to fine particulate matter and take concrete steps to control their exposure to air pollutants.
