Volley builds the best voice-controlled games and entertainment experiences for Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, smartphones, and Fire TVs. Popular Volley voice games include Song Quiz, Jeopardy!, and The Price Is Right. Our voice apps are used by millions of people every month. We believe voice control will become the main way people access entertainment in their bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and cars, and our goal is to become the "Netflix of Voice" for this emerging category of devices. Volley was founded by Max Child and James Wilsterman in 2016. We're a 60+ person hybrid remote/in-person company, headquartered in the Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco. While we work to make home entertainment more accessible and engaging, we like to have fun along the way, with team lunches, Friday happy hours, and very active #food and #pets slack channels. If any of this sounds fun to you (we promise it is), come join us! Read more about Volley's culture and mission here: volleythat.com/post/volley-mission-culture-and-what-we-create

Storytime is a mobile platform that empowers storytellers to create expressive films using synthetic media technology. The way we create media is transforming dramatically. Gone are the days when a small elite class creates what the masses consume. People craft their own worlds in Roblox, Mario has evolved into Mario Maker, and meme culture has turned everything into a personal artistic medium. This trend has yet to impact all media, however. Creating a film or TV series still requires a massive budget and production team. We’d rather live in a world where a few friends can create the next hit film franchise from their phones. To realize this vision, we created a company. Storytime provides creative writers with a new filmmaking toolkit. We pair breakthroughs in machine learning with intuitive design to make storytelling simple, expressive, and most of all, rewarding. After all, the joy of storytelling lies as much in the creative process as it does in the result. But Storytime is more than just a toolkit. It’s a global community of artists. Much like open-source computing, the future of filmmaking will be collaborative. To that end, Storytimers create and share the building blocks of great stories: characters, environments, music, and more. Paradigm shifts this large are rare. And yet, for all its differences, this strange new world will remain the same in one way: people will always seek meaning and expression through storytelling. Whether in books, film, music, or video games, a great story is the cornerstone of what it means to be human.

What is our product? The "Netflix of investments": an app that helps retail investors throughout their investment journey. We are planning to do this by providing structure and a clear investment process to each of our users. What does it help customers do? Our app will help retail investors to make up their mind about whether to invest or not in specific stocks and bonds. Our app is not a brokerage firm (i.e. you won't be able to trade via our platform). Our goal is to inspire users and help them with their due diligence process. Who is the customer? Our ideal target customer is the sophisticated active retail investor (i.e. people already familiarized with finance and who are trading on a regular basis). Having said that, we hope to add value to anyone interested in investing and financial markets.
