iOS Engineer

As part of this job, you will be working in the core team and interact very closely with other developers (Android, web, backend), designer as well as direct access to the CEO.

Location:
Work from home, but candidate should be able to make frequent visits to Pune. Staying within driving distance of Pune preferred.

Requirements:

• Good hands-on coding experience building iOS apps.
• 0 to 3 years professional experience building iOS apps. If you are a fresher, you should have done multiple iOS projects on the side!
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably Computer Science / Engineering.
• Good knowledge of Swift, Objective-C (optional, but good to know).
• Worked on multiple apps. If they are live on the App Store, then it's a plus.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of architectures, view controllers, life cycle, UI development (storyboard), animations, etc.
• Good understanding and experience with databases such as SQLite, CoreData, Realm, etc. Experience with Realm a plus.
• Familiarity with key iOS technologies such as push notifications, key-chains, etc.
• Good experience using popular third party libraries.
• Proficient in Git.
• Passionately believe in creating a phenomenal mobile experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop & maintain all our core apps on iOS.
• Keep a tab of new developments in iOS and Apple ecosystem, and keep management updated about the changes.
• Think of innovative ways to use new technologies that will benefit our users.
• Collaborate with other dev teams (Android, web, backend).
• Ensure quality and performance of all apps, while writing high quality code and documentation.
• Publish and maintain apps on App Store.
• Keep discovering and learning new coding techniques, tools, etc., to maximize efficiency for yourself and the company.
