Mechanical Design Associate — 2026

INTRODUCTION

We are inviting applications for the Mechanical Design Associate — Fixed Tenure position for 2026 from engineers and designers with practical experience in 3D product design, mechanical engineering, simulation, rapid prototyping, fabrication and product-development execution.

The role is intended for candidates who want hands-on exposure to the complete mechanical product-development lifecycle — from concept development and 3D modelling through simulation, engineering drawings, rapid fabrication, prototype testing, design iteration, manufacturing coordination and product qualification.

Candidates with experience in technology-product startups, core-engineering organisations, hardware development or other product-development environments are particularly encouraged to apply.

Candidates with career gaps or who are returning to technology are welcome to apply if they can demonstrate relevant prior engineering capability.

Freshers without demonstrable Product Development, Project Deliverable Execution, 3D Design or practical fabrication experience need NOT apply.

Academic CAD exercises alone, without meaningful engineering execution, prototype development or completed design deliverables, will generally not satisfy the experience expectations for this position.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate what they have designed, how it was engineered, how it was fabricated, how it was tested and how the design evolved through iteration.

Application Requirements

Candidates may be requested to provide:

  • Resume / CV
  • Cover Letter
  • Engineering / Design Case Studies
  • 3D Design Portfolio
  • Reference Letters, where applicable
  • Self-Assessment Form
  • CAD models, drawings or fabrication documentation where permissible
  • Evidence of completed prototypes / product-development work

Incomplete applications may not be considered for further evaluation.
