Who we are
NEXEA is a Startup Investment company specialised in supporting and funding technology companies that have the potential to be the next technology giants. We are based in Kuala Lumpur and invest in eleven different countries across Southeast Asia.

• Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Role/Tasks
Supporting the application & evaluation process of startups seeking funds:

• Support email communications with applicants and set meetings for interviews
• Join NEXEA’s Partners for startup interviews and document key points discussed
• Support evaluating target companies with research on their market, similar overseas players, local competitors, potential exit strategies, comparable valuations, etc
• Help to prepare internal investment memos

Supporting the process of making an investment in startups:

• Arrange meetings for startups to present to NEXEA’s Investment Committee or Angel Investors
• Gather information needed for the Due Diligence process
• Support the process of document signing and assist the company secretaries
• Document the fund transfers

Taking care of portfolio companies:

• Ensure NEXEA and Angel Investors receive regular updates from portfolio companies
• Follow-up with portfolio companies and if required, set meetings with Partners, Mentors or other Ecosystem partners

Candidate Criteria

• Preparing a Bachelor or a Master degree in Business and Management
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong English communication skills
• Affinity for investment management
