QA Engineer (Ginger)

About the role

You will test and automate end-to-end business workflows for a rights and licensing platform and the media systems connected to it. You will learn the existing manual and automated tests from the client's testers, then expand automation coverage using Ginger.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn existing test cases, test data and environments from the client's test team.
• Execute manual and automated tests for releases, new features and partner integrations.
• Build and maintain Ginger automation for regression and end-to-end flows.
• Validate backend data with SQL.
• Log, track and retest defects; support UAT with client users.

Who Are We Looking For Exactly?

• 4+ years in software testing, with 2+ years of test automation.
• Ginger (byAmdocs), or strong experience in Selenium, Katalon or UFT plus willingness to learn Ginger.
• End-to-end and integration testing across multiple systems.
• SQL for data setup and validation.
• Defect tracking in Jira or similar.

Good to have

• Media, telecom or billing domain testing.
• API testing with Postman or similar.
• Experience automating legacy Windows applications.

What we will assess

• Writing test cases for a given business workflow.
• A short automation exercise or walkthrough of a framework they built.
