About the job

📍Business Analyst

This role is ideal for someone excited to work with data, reporting, and business process automation. The Business Analyst will partner closely with senior analysts to support business reporting, improve data quality and availability, and collaborate with sales and operations on process automation initiatives. This role focuses on ensuring data and dashboards are clean, well-organized, and effectively used across teams, while also playing a key role in standardizing data and connecting multiple data sources to drive automation.

What You’ll Do:

Own and Advance Business-Critical Reporting:

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards within Knock’s reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau) used for management and executive reporting
  • Establish repeatable, standardized reporting processes that ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the organization
  • Apply independent judgment to determine appropriate metrics, data sources, and presentation methods to support informed decision-making
  • Partner with business leaders to translate complex data into actionable insights

Ensure Data Accuracy, Integrity, and Governance:

  • Own data quality standards across systems to ensure reporting accuracy and trust
  • Normalize, clean, and structure data tables to support long-term scalability and maintainability
  • Define, document, and enforce data definitions, naming conventions, and field mappings across multiple platforms
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information, including PII, in compliance with internal security standards and data privacy best practices

Create, Improve, and Maintain Processes & Pipelines:

  • Design and document processes and procedures for data workflows, reporting, and automation
  • Make thoughtful changes to existing business-critical processes with minimal disruption to operations
  • Maintain and optimize data pipelines to ensure speed, reliability, and accuracy without causing business interruptions
  • Independently identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies in current systems and recommend solutions

Drive Automation and Cross-Functional Enablement:

  • Learn and understand existing workflows and automations across teams
  • Evaluate and improve existing automations across sales, marketing, and operations
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand workflows and design scalable, data-driven solutions
  • Take ownership of ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and improvement of automation logic and outputs
  • Identify and drive opportunities to improve and simplify current automations

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to exercise independent judgment and solve complex business problems
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
  • Working knowledge of SQL (joins, conditional logic); familiarity with Python, JSON structures, and delimited text formats is a plus
  • Experience with data visualization tools (nice to have: experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker)
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and validating data used for management reporting and operational decision-making
  • Experience cleaning, organizing, and maintaining data from CRMs or spreadsheets
  • Experience collaborating with marketing, sales, or operations teams on reporting or process improvement initiatives
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when cleaning, mapping, and labeling data, and the ability to identify data inconsistencies or errors
  • Clear and effective communicator with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and adapt to changing business needs without close supervision
  • Agility in adapting to changing processes, new situations, and thinking on one’s feet
  • Resourcefulness, decisiveness and accountability for the customer and agent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Outstanding work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Passion for Knock’s POPSICLE values and a consistent commitment to doing the right thing
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an analytical, reporting, or technical support role

We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every qualification. If this role excites you, we want to hear from you!

  • Communicate and exchange accurate information to others via telephone or internet video applications

The candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
