Looking for a CTO who wants to build the future of 3D. 🚀

Not another SaaS. Not another AI wrapper. Something much bigger.

I'm building Vi3W a tool that turns sketches, images, and ideas into 3D models, right in your browser.

Think about what Canva did for design. What Figma did for collaboration. What Blender made possible for 3D creators.

Now imagine rethinking how the world creates 3D in the age of AI.

That's the ambition.

We've got 500+ beta users and 100+ people waiting for early access. The product is working, people are trying it, and now it's time to take it to the next level.

I'm looking for a CTO who's built and scaled serious products before, ideally someone who's worked on design tools, creative software, 3D applications, graphics engines, or products at companies like Adobe, Blender, Canva, Figma, or similar.

I don't just need someone who can write code. I need someone who knows how to build great software.

What you'll be doing

• Own the technology, architecture, and engineering direction of Vi3W.
• Figure out how to make browser-based 3D editing fast, reliable, and genuinely enjoyable.
• Push the limits of AI-generated 3D, model editing, rendering, and interactive experiences.
• Build a product that can handle real users, real workloads, and eventually much bigger scale.
• Make the hard calls on infrastructure, security, performance, AI pipelines, and what we should build next.
• Work directly with me to turn a big vision into a product people genuinely love.

Who should apply?

Someone who has been through the hard parts of building software.

Someone who understands why creative applications are difficult to get right — from rendering and performance to UX, infrastructure, and reliability.

Someone who has built products that people actually use, and knows the difference between getting an MVP working and building something that can scale.

Experience matters a lot for this role. I'd love to meet someone who's worked at Adobe, Canva, Figma, Blender, Autodesk, or a similar company, but the work you've done matters more than the logo on your résumé.

Before you apply, I have a small challenge for you.

Please don't send me your resume first. Try the product.

1. Go to https://app.vi3w.in and spend some time using VI3W.
2. Try creating a few 3D models. Explore the workflow and see what feels good, what feels broken, and what you'd change.
3. Send me your honest feedback. Tell me what you think is wrong with the frontend, backend, AI pipeline, security, performance, or overall product experience.
4. If you were the CTO, what would you fix first? What would you rebuild, what would you leave alone, and what would you do over the next 90 days?

I don't expect you to conduct a full security audit or spend days investigating our codebase before we've even spoken. Start with the product itself. If we both see a fit, we can go deeper technically.

Brutal honesty is welcome. In fact, I'd prefer it.

One more thing: this isn't a typical CTO job.

I'm looking for a genuine partner, not just someone who joins, takes a salary, and executes tickets.

I'm open to a CTO who is willing to co-invest in the company and have meaningful ownership in what we build together. That would mean discussing the investment, equity, responsibilities, and long term commitment transparently before making any decisions.

I'm not looking for someone to buy a title. I'm looking for someone who believes in the opportunity enough to have a real conversation about building and owning it together.

We already have early users. We have people waiting to get in. Now we need to build the product and the engineering foundation that can take us much further.
