Job Position: GDOT Web Developer / Web Accessibility Specialist

Position Overview

Our Direct Client is looking for a detail-oriented Web Developer / Web Accessibility Specialist to join a Digital Services team.

This position is responsible for assisting with auditing, remediating, and maintaining web content and digital assets across online channels to ensure compliance with ADA Title II standards, WCAG 2.1 AA/2.2 standards, and Section 508 guidelines.

The ideal candidate should have strong Microsoft SharePoint experience, web development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience managing accessibility issues across web pages, electronic documents, and embedded media.

Key Requirements

2+ years of experience as a Webmaster, Front-End Developer, or Accessibility Specialist
Strong SharePoint Online/Server experience
Knowledge of ADA Title II, WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA, WAI-ARIA, and Section 508
Strong HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills
Experience with PDF remediation and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
Experience creating accessible Microsoft Office documents
