Coupa Solution Architect - Remote

Position: Coupa Solution Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: 24+Months

MUST BE BILINGUAL: Spanish & English

• Leadership: Owns end-to-end Coupa solution architecture and roadmap for all phases and business units.
• Design Authority: Runs design workshops, makes/document key design decisions, ensures solution consistency across units and countries.
• Team Leadership: Leads and mentors functional, technical, and client teams; sets standards for configuration, documentation, and quality.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Acts as senior Coupa advisor to executives and steering committee; communicates status, risks, and trade-offs.
• Solution Design: Translates business requirements into scalable Coupa solutions; leads configuration of core modules (Procurement, Invoicing, Expenses, Sourcing, CLM, Supplier Management, Coupa Pay).
• Integration Ownership: Defines integration architecture between Coupa and ERP (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, NetSuite) and other systems; leads data migration strategy.
• Localization: Designs and ensures compliance for Mexico (CFDI e-invoicing, SAT, VAT/IVA, withholding); coordinates with tax and e-invoicing partners.
• Delivery Management: Plans and leads phased rollouts, testing, cutover, go-live, hyper care, and post-go-live support and governance.
• Change Management: Drives supplier enablement and business adoption; manages risks and resolves issues proactively.
• Qualifications Required:
• 10+ years in procure-to-pay, source-to-pay, or ERP finance
• 6+ years hands-on Coupa experience, including 2+ years as solution architect/design authority
• 3+ full-life cycle Coupa implementations (including multi-country or multi-entity)
• Current Coupa certification in core modules
• Expertise in Coupa Procurement and Invoicing; working knowledge of other modules
• Experience integrating Coupa with major ERPs
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management ability
• Ability to travel (up to 30% US/Mexico); US work authorization
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior Coupa implementation in Mexico (CFDI, SAT compliance)
• Spanish language proficiency
• Experience as Coupa partner architect or with Coupa Professional Services
• Middleware experience (Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, SAP Integration Suite)
• Background in manufacturing/distribution/multi-entity organizations
• Knowledge of Coupa Analytics, Spend Guard, Supply Chain modules
• Bachelor s in Information Systems or related field
