About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Platform Engineer to design, deploy, maintain, and support enterprise-grade Azure cloud, data, and analytics platforms, including Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and data platform services.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Support and optimize Power BI platform environments.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams on scalable and cost-effective architectures.
• Troubleshoot platform and infrastructure issues.
• Provide operational support and ensure platform reliability, security, and performance.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and cloud cost optimization practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on Azure Cloud Engineering experience.
• Strong experience with:
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Functions
• Azure API Management
• Strong Azure networking knowledge including:
• VNets
• Private Endpoints
• NSGs
• DNS
• Hands-on Terraform / IaC experience.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Power BI platform administration and deployment experience.
• Understanding of data engineering fundamentals, including data pipelines, data lakes, and ingestion patterns.

Nice to Have

• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or DP-203.
• Experience with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Azure cost governance and optimization experience.
• Enterprise cloud security and governance experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be based in / available to work from Toronto, Canada.
• Must be able to work onsite at least 2 days per week.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
