Role: Full Stack Engineer – Java / React

Experience: 8+ years

We are looking for a strong Full Stack Engineer with hands-on experience building enterprise applications using Java and React, along with experience working in HIPAA-regulated healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend microservices.
Develop responsive, reusable frontend components using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases and develop efficient data-access solutions.
Build secure applications that handle PHI/PII and healthcare data in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
Implement appropriate authentication, authorization, encryption, logging, and access-control mechanisms.
Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and business teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, CI/CD, and production support.
Deploy and support applications in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Required Skills

8+ years of software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
Strong hands-on experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
Experience with SQL databases and database design.
Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of application security and secure coding practices.
Hands-on experience working with HIPAA-compliant applications or healthcare systems handling PHI.
Understanding of HIPAA-related controls around data privacy, access management, encryption, audit logging, and secure transmission/storage of healthcare data.

Preferred

Experience with healthcare platforms, payer/provider systems, EHR/EMR applications, or healthcare integrations.
Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR or HL7.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, or other distributed-system technologies.
