Role Overview

We are seeking a resourceful and highly organised Operations Associate to support the day-to-day running of our India operations. You will work directly with the Operations Lead across supply chain, vendor management, compliance documentation, logistics, and internal administration. This is a broad, generalist role with high ownership from day one, suited to someone early in their career who wants exposure to how a hardware MedTech company is actually built and run.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and service vendors on quotations, purchase orders, delivery schedules, and payment follow-ups.
• Track component sourcing and BOM status; maintain vendor databases and cost comparisons.
• Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including import documentation, customs coordination, courier logistics, and inventory records.
• Maintain compliance and certification documentation for regulatory and product standards submissions.
• Support grant reporting: collate milestone evidence, invoices, and utilisation records against deadlines.
• Handle office administration, statutory filings coordination, asset tracking, and general facilities needs.
• Provide operational and logistics support to clinical study sites, including device dispatch, consumables, and travel arrangements.
• Maintain organised internal documentation, trackers, and records so information is retrievable and audit-ready.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• 0 to 2 years of experience. Freshers with strong internship or project experience are welcome.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable dealing with vendors, consultants, and government offices.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, and general comfort with digital tools.
• High attention to detail and the ability to keep multiple threads moving without being chased.
• Proactive, hands-on attitude. Willing to do both spreadsheet work and on-ground running around.
• Based in Bengaluru, with willingness to travel occasionally.

Bonus Skills

• Exposure to hardware, electronics, or medical device supply chains.
• Familiarity with Indian import/export processes, GST, or statutory compliance.
• Experience with procurement or ERP tools.
• Interest in healthcare, MedTech, or regulated product development.
