About LightHearted AI
LightHearted AI is a Forbes-recognized precision cardiology company on a mission to prevent 10 million heart-related deaths by 2030. Our novel technology, LightScope, is a laser-based device that quantifies blood flow at 16x the signal-to-noise of any existing technology, detecting cardiovascular conditions in just 10 seconds by shining light on the neck — no expert required.
We've completed multiple clinical studies validating the technology and are collaborating with the American Heart Association, NHS, and major healthcare systems across Europe and the US. We're a VC-backed startup with offices in London, New York, and Bengaluru.
About the Role
We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Clinical Study Coordinator to support and manage our ongoing and future clinical studies. You'll work closely with doctors, hospital staff, patients, and our internal tech team to ensure smooth execution of clinical trials — owning patient engagement, on-site technical support, stakeholder management, and timely data capture and reporting.
This is a travel-intensive role. You'll spend significant time on-site at clinical study locations across India (currently AIIMS New Delhi), with Bangalore as your home base between deployments. Frequent travel is central to this role, not occasional.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and manage ongoing and future clinical studies at AIIMS New Delhi and other hospitals
- Act as the central point of contact for investigators, doctors, and hospital staff
- Ensure patient comfort and clear communication during study procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot LightScope during clinical sessions
- Sync and secure study data at defined intervals in compliance with protocols
- Collaborate with the internal tech team to resolve technical issues in real time
- Handle study-related procurement, logistics, and on-ground operational needs
- Document updates, track study progress, and communicate insights to internal teams
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Research, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in clinical study coordination, hospital operations, or medical device handling
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient engagement and collaboration with medical staff
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot medical devices and software
- Willingness to travel extensively — travel is a central, ongoing requirement of this role
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Bonus Points For
- Experience in medical device clinical studies or healthcare research
- Familiarity with clinical trial protocols, GCP guidelines, and regulatory compliance
What We Offer
- The opportunity to contribute directly to life-changing MedTech innovation
- A collaborative, growth-oriented environment at the intersection of healthcare and AI
- Competitive salary and travel allowances
- A mission-driven culture where your work directly impacts patient care and safety
Location: Bangalore-based, with frequent travel to clinical study sites across India
