Senior Automation & AI Systems Developer

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Automation & AI Systems Developer with 5+ years of experience building production systems across APIs, automation, backend services, and AI workflows.

You should be deeply hands-on with n8n, MCP servers, TypeScript, APIs, webhooks, databases, and AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code and Codex.

This role is for someone who can take a messy workflow, design the right architecture, and ship a reliable internal or customer-facing system without needing heavy supervision.

You’ll work directly with leadership on automation, Creative Studio, AI agents, internal tools, and integrations.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and build complex automation workflows in n8n
• Build and maintain MCP servers that connect AI models to internal tools, APIs, and business systems
• Create AI-powered workflows using Claude, OpenAI, and other models
• Build internal apps and lightweight products using Claude Code, Codex, Lovable, and similar tools
• Evaluate new AI models and tools and swap them into workflows when they improve speed, cost, or quality

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Deep hands-on experience with n8n
• Experience building and deploying MCP servers
• Strong TypeScript / Node.js skills
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and third-party integrations
• Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL
• Experience building AI workflows using LLM APIs

Nice to Have

• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, RAG, or agent memory
• Experience with image, video, or creative automation workflows
• Experience integrating Figma, Google Workspace, Slack, HubSpot, or other marketing systems
