About the job
Role Summary
We are looking for a Performance Marketing Executive to run and optimise Meta and Google Ads campaigns across client accounts.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly inside ad accounts on a daily basis. You don't need to be a senior strategist, but you should be strong with data, quick to learn new tools and accounts, comfortable using AI tools as part of your daily workflow, and genuinely curious about why campaigns perform the way they do.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Management
- Set up, run, and optimise Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns.
- Monitor budgets and pacing and flag issues proactively.
Run structured tests across targeting, bidding, and placements.
Data & Reporting
Analyse campaign data using Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and Microsoft Clarity.
Build weekly and monthly performance reports with clear, actionable takeaways.
Track KPIs such as CAC, ROAS, CTR, and CPL and connect them to client goals.
AI-Led Creative
Generate and edit ad creatives using AI tools for fast iteration.
Develop a strong understanding of creative fundamentals including hooks, pacing, visual composition, and scroll-stopping concepts.
Collaborate with the creative team on concepts and angles and iterate based on performance data.
Workflow Automation
Build AI-powered workflows to improve reporting, research, and creative production.
Test new AI tools and introduce effective solutions to the team.
Client & Team Communication
Join client calls and present updates clearly and honestly, including when campaigns aren't performing.
Coordinate with the team through Slack and project management tools to keep execution organised and on schedule.
Must-Have Skills
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience managing Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns.
- Strong fluency with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and AI creative/video tools. This is a non-negotiable requirement.
- Good creative judgment and the ability to explain why an ad works or doesn't.
- Comfortable analysing data and turning insights into decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with strong tracking, naming convention, and reporting hygiene.
Culture / What We're Looking For
- Extreme ownership: Own the problem and the solution without waiting to be told what to fix.
- Over-communication: Communicate progress, blockers, and mistakes early.
- Upward management: Be comfortable telling the team what needs to be done, not just waiting for instructions.
- Growth mindset: Be willing to say "I don't know this yet" and then learn it.
- Humility: Confidence is valued, but ego is not.
This Role Probably Isn't For You If
- You want to be told exactly what to do every day.
- You avoid difficult conversations.
- You're looking for a purely 9-to-5, low-ownership role.
What We Offer
- Direct, daily exposure to the founder and live client strategy.
- Real ownership over client accounts early in your career.
- A team where your work is visible and your growth isn't capped by hierarchy.
- Remote-friendly working environment.
- Competitive compensation based on experience and proof of work.
