Value Engineering Lead

About the role
You will own how RoaDo quantifies, delivers and proves value: building business cases that win enterprise deals, and driving cost and process improvements inside customer logistics operations so the value we promise shows up in their P&L. You start by leading a small team and grow it into a standalone function, reporting to a co-founder.

What you will do

Customer value and business cases
• Lead value discovery with enterprise prospects: baseline logistics costs, process gaps and KPIs such as cost per tonne-km, detention, TAT, invoice leakage and fleet utilisation
• Build ROI models and business cases that anchor pricing and shorten deal cycles with Sales
• Set value-realisation plans at onboarding and run periodic value reviews that drive renewals and expansion

Operations and process optimisation
• Diagnose customer operations (routing, dispatch, load consolidation, transporter mix, gate and yard flow, freight audit) and design improvements the RoaDo platform can deliver
• Own value tracking for strategic accounts: baselines, targets and reporting
• Turn recurring optimisation patterns into standard playbooks and product asks

Data and analytics
• Pull, clean and reconcile customer data (trip logs, GPS pings, freight invoices, ePOD, ERP dispatch) to build baselines you can defend; no self-reported numbers
• Define the value data model and data-quality standards at onboarding, and flag master-data or integration gaps that would undermine measurement
• Build value dashboards on the RoaDo platform or BI layer, and run root-cause analysis when targets slip: process, adoption, data or product

Building the function
• Hire, coach and lead value engineers and logistics analysts
• Create reusable assets: value calculators, benchmarks, case studies, discovery frameworks
• Embed value thinking across Product, Sales, Customer Success and the founding team
