About the Role

We are looking for a Culinary Research Intern who loves cooking and wants to work at the intersection of food and technology.

This is not a restaurant job.

You will help us:

• Curate and test recipes for Tara
• Standardize ingredients and measurements
• Break down cooking into precise, repeatable steps
• Document timing, temperature, texture transitions
• Help convert human cooking into structured intelligence
• You’ll work directly with the founders and product team.

What You’ll Do

• Cook and test recipes multiple times for consistency
• Measure ingredients precisely (grams, timing, heat levels)
• Write detailed, step-by-step instructions
• Help optimize recipes for beginner-friendly execution
• Assist in building a structured recipe database
• Support beta testing and food demos

Who We’re Looking For

• (preferred) Currently pursuing Hotel Management / Culinary Arts
• Genuinely loves cooking and experimenting
• Detail-oriented and disciplined
• Comfortable documenting processes clearly
• Open to working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Curious about how food science works

Bonus if you:

• Have experience in a test kitchen
• Understand nutrition basics
• Have managed food content/blog/Instagram

What This Is NOT

• Not a hotel kitchen role
• Not a line cook job
• Not repetitive food prep work
