About the job

The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) will partner directly with clients to design, develop, and integrate cutting‑edge solutions that address complex business challenges. Leveraging deep expertise in software engineering, the FDE will act as both a technical consultant and a delivery lead, ensuring rapid, high‑quality implementation of scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and define solution architecture.
Design, develop, and deploy microservice‑based applications using Java, .NET, or Python, incorporating RESTful APIs and modern front‑end frameworks such as Angular or React.
Implement data persistence strategies utilizing SQL databases alongside NoSQL solutions like MongoDB or DynamoDB, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes clusters within Azure or AWS environments.
Establish CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions to automate testing, building, and release processes.
Write comprehensive unit and integration tests, enforce code quality standards, and conduct peer reviews to maintain robust, maintainable codebases.
Operate within Agile/Scrum teams, providing technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering incremental value in sprint cycles.

Requirements
8–12 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong track record of delivering enterprise‑grade solutions.
Proficiency in at least two of the following languages: Java, C#/.NET, Python, and hands‑on experience with Angular or React for front‑end development.
Deep understanding of microservices architecture, REST API design, and experience with relational (SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB) data stores.
Extensive experience deploying and managing applications on Azure or AWS, including containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
Solid expertise in version control (Git) and CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions, coupled with a strong emphasis on automated testing.
Demonstrated ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments, communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences, and mentor cross‑functional teams.
