Proverse Talent is a recruiting company that runs on software we build ourselves. We place engineers and specialists for fast-growing companies, and we're building the platform that makes that placement faster and more evidence-based than a traditional agency can manage.
That gives us three ways to make money, and this role touches all three.
What you'd actually be doing
1 · Vendor empanelment — the one that unlocks everything
Getting Proverse onto a company's approved recruitment-vendor list is the gate before any agency revenue exists. You'd research target companies, find who owns vendor decisions in TA and procurement, prepare empanelment documentation, manage submissions, and chase them to a decision. This is a real, learnable, valuable skill, and most people your age have never been taught it.
2 · Agency business development
Build and work a pipeline of companies hiring for roles we can fill. Research, outreach, qualification, and getting the right conversation into the founder's calendar.
3 · Marketplace and platform demand
Bring companies onto our marketplace to post roles, and recruiters onto our platform. Different audiences, different messaging — you'd help work out which lines land.
Across all three, you'd own
Building and maintaining the pipeline so nothing is lost and every lead is traceable
Research on target companies, hiring signals, and the people who make the decision
Tracking follow-ups and activity — being the reason nothing goes cold
Building simple automations so the same manual work doesn't get done twice
Writing down what works, so the second month is easier than the first
What we're honest about
You won't be closing deals in month one — the founder closes. Your job is to create and qualify the opportunities that make closing possible, and to build the process that lets us do it repeatably. If you're good at that, you'll be closing before the internship ends.
What Good Looks Like
30 Days
Build a clean pipeline and identify the top 50 target companies.
60 Days
Get empanelment submissions moving and establish a consistent outreach process.
90 Days
Identify which channels work best using response and conversion data, and help build a repeatable GTM process.
What we're looking for
Required
Genuinely strong research skills — you can find the right person and a reason to contact them
Clear written English; most of this job is written
Organised by instinct. A pipeline you don't maintain is worse than no pipeline
Comfortable with AI tools as everyday leverage, not as a novelty
Willing to hear "no" repeatedly and keep going
Preferred
Any exposure to B2B sales, recruitment, or staffing
Hands-on with Claude, Notion, NotebookLM, or MCP-based automation
Understanding of how Indian enterprises procure vendors
Not required: a sales background, or a technical one. We'll teach the process.
Why this is worth your time
You'd be the first commercial hire, building the sales function rather than inheriting one — with direct access to the founder and real ownership of what gets tried. If it works, this becomes a full-time role owning GTM.
