Role Overview

Huvo AI is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers and our product and engineering teams.

This role is primarily focused on prompt engineering, agent behaviour design, testing, and optimisation, which will constitute approximately 60–70% of the work. You will design and improve AI voice-agent conversations, qualification logic, objection handling, follow-up flows, multilingual behaviour, and customer-specific instructions.

The remaining work involves customer deployments, workflow configuration, integrations, production troubleshooting, and converting recurring customer requirements into scalable product features.

This is not a conventional support role. You will own customer implementations from requirement gathering and prompt design to launch, optimisation, and post-launch performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, test, and continuously improve prompts for Huvo AI’s voice and conversational agents.
• Convert customer sales processes, scripts, FAQs, and business rules into structured AI-agent workflows.
• Optimise conversations for qualification, objection handling, site-visit booking, follow-ups, collections, and customer engagement.
• Review call recordings, transcripts, outcomes, and failure cases to improve agent performance.
• Configure and deploy voice agents, WhatsApp workflows, CRM pipelines, campaigns, dashboards, and reports.
• Build integrations with CRMs, Meta lead forms, property portals, telephony systems, WhatsApp APIs, and webhooks.
• Troubleshoot prompt, integration, data-flow, and production issues during live campaigns.
• Work with customers, founders, and engineers to turn repeated requirements into scalable platform capabilities.
• Ensure every deployment is properly tested, documented, measurable, and stable before launch.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, LLM behaviour, conversational design, and structured testing.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear prompts, workflows, decision logic, and agent instructions.
• Backend or full-stack experience with technologies such as Python, FastAPI, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, and REST APIs.
• Experience with webhooks, third-party integrations, authentication, databases, logs, and production debugging.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.
• High ownership, attention to detail, speed, and testing discipline.

Good to Have

• Experience with AI agents, voice AI, telephony, WhatsApp Business APIs, CRM systems, or sales automation.
• Experience evaluating LLM outputs, analysing transcripts, creating test cases, and reducing hallucinations or conversation failures.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, AWS, Azure, Supabase, or PostgreSQL.
• Previous experience in solutions engineering, implementation engineering, customer engineering, technical consulting, or B2B SaaS.
