QA Engineer- Fresher

Roles & Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements and identify scenarios that need testing.
• Create and execute test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform manual, functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps.
• Retest fixes and verify that issues have been resolved.
• Test web applications and check usability, functionality, and edge cases.
• Assist with basic API testing using tools such as Postman.
• Collaborate with developers and product team members to improve product quality.
• Maintain testing documentation and share test results with the team.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Freshers and candidates with 0–1 year of experience in software testing or QA are welcome to apply.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts, including manual testing, test cases, and bug reporting.
• Familiarity with functional testing, regression testing, and the software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Basic knowledge of web applications and identifying software defects.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira or Postman is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or programming languages is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn, collaborate with developers, and contribute to improving software quality.
