About the job
Rally is building the booking and ticketing platform for college events nationwide. Student organizations use Rally for formal dates, date parties, barn dances, moms’ weekends, dads’ weekends, concerts, production parties, ticketing, and other major campus experiences.
We are hiring a Founding Sales Representative to help open new university markets and build Rally’s earliest customer relationships. This is a real sales position with direct responsibility for generating opportunities and converting campus organizations into Rally customers—not a passive campus ambassador role.
You will work directly with Rally’s founder to identify high-value campuses and organizations, reach presidents, social chairs, event chairs, and other decision-makers, conduct outbound outreach, qualify opportunities, schedule and lead conversations, maintain an organized pipeline, and help refine the sales process as Rally expands nationally.
The right person is competitive, persuasive, highly organized, and comfortable creating opportunities from scratch. You should understand how relationships and influence work within college communities. Experience in sales, business development, Greek life, campus leadership, events, hospitality, entertainment, or an early-stage startup is valuable.
This role is best suited to someone who wants meaningful responsibility at an early-stage company and has the time and ambition to treat the opportunity seriously. You will have direct access to the founder, significant ownership over your markets, and the opportunity to grow with Rally as we build the central marketplace and operating system for college events.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified student organizations and campus decision-makers
- Conduct consistent outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, social media, and personal networks
- Present Rally’s booking, payment, and ticketing capabilities clearly
- Schedule and conduct qualified sales conversations
- Build lasting relationships with chapter and student-organization leaders
- Maintain accurate outreach, follow-up, and conversion records
- Meet weekly activity, meeting, and customer-acquisition goals
- Share market feedback and help improve Rally’s sales strategy
We are looking for execution, availability, and measurable results—not résumé padding. Applicants should be prepared to explain how they would open a campus, who they can reach, and how much time they can commit.
