About the job

Lemonet is hiring a Content Strategist & Writer — a remote role at 3–5 days per week, and currently the most important hire in the business: content is our delivery bottleneck. You'll own the content function end-to-end, producing high-quality authority content that earns trust with readers, clients, search engines, and AI search platforms.

You'll own production from planning through publication: analysing editorial opportunities, mapping topic clusters to approved target publications, creating briefs, anchors, and AEO prompts and answers, drafting with LLMs, and turning drafts into polished, evidence-backed articles that support off-page authority, SEO, and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategies.

What you'll do

Take the target sites (the approved placement set) as your starting brief.
Analyse and map editorial clusters to that set, matching the right angle and topic to each target.
Create the anchors and the AEO prompts and answers for each piece.
Write the content (600–1,200 words per piece), using LLMs as the drafting engine.
Own proofreading, fact-checking, and brand fact-checking on every piece.
Optimise every piece for AEO and SEO before it ships.

What "good" looks like

AI gets a piece to roughly 80% — your value is the other 20%: structuring the argument, sourcing the proof, adding the story an LLM misses, and challenging the output rather than shipping a list of facts and adjectives. You'll learn each client's business rather than just polishing copy, and hold a high bar: on our most demanding accounts, feedback comes back on granular detail, so pieces need to be right first time.

You'll be good at this if you can…

Turn a rough AI draft into an argument with a spine — a clear point of view, not a pile of facts.
Get up to speed on an unfamiliar B2B business fast (legal, AI, payouts, HR) and write about it credibly.
Fact-check and brand-check ruthlessly, so a client never catches an error before you do.
Think in SEO and AEO, not just prose — map topics and prompts to target sites and write to how people (and AI) actually search.
Work at pace — around four pieces a day — without dropping the quality bar.
Take granular client feedback without ego and turn it around quickly.
Use LLMs as a tool, not a crutch — you know exactly where the tool stops and your judgement starts.

Who you'll write for

A portfolio spanning B2B and B2C: a B2B SaaS for example a HR platform (our biggest, most detail-driven account), a high-touch managed authority client, a UK consumer food brand, and a B2B wholesale supplier. Sectors run from legal and AI to HR, payouts, and consumer food — you'll switch between B2B and consumer voice and learn unfamiliar businesses quickly.

Throughput

Around four pieces per day (600–1,200 words each), drafted with LLMs. Lower-tier AI-assisted pieces move quickly; higher-value authority pieces take two to three hours of strategy and optimisation each.

About you

  1. Native-level English; strong long-form editorial writing.
  2. ~2 years' experience in content marketing, editorial, journalism, SEO content, or digital marketing (degree optional).
  3. Excellent research and fact-checking; content that is accurate, credible, and evidence-backed.
  4. Experience using AI research/writing tools or LLMs in a professional content workflow is highly beneficial.
  5. Strong grasp of SEO fundamentals and familiarity with AEO, search intent, keyword research, and structured content.
  6. Builds logical arguments and clear narratives rather than just presenting information.
  7. Meticulous proofreading and editing; consistency across multiple client brands.
  8. Organised, deadline-driven, and effective working remotely; responds constructively to editorial and client feedback.
