Social Media Account Manager

SAFALTA SETU is a non-profit initiative dedicated to bridging the gap between 'Army Brats' (children of Armed Forces personnel) and transformative industry opportunities. Our mission is to empower military youth by providing access to mentorship, career guidance, and professional networks. About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Manage assigned social media accounts by publishing and scheduling content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms.
2. Ensure all posts are published accurately and on time as per the content calendar, with proper captions, hashtags, mentions, links, formatting, and media attachments
3. Optimize content according to platform-specific requirements and follow best practices to improve reach, engagement, and overall performance.
4. Monitor audience interactions, respond to comments when required, and use engagement features like stories, polls, and community posts to build an active online community.
5. Track and maintain daily social media performance metrics such as views, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves, and follower growth using performance trackers.
6. Conduct regular research on social media trends, algorithm updates, viral content formats, hashtags, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth.
7. Prepare basic performance reports and share insights with the team to improve future content strategies and campaigns.
8. Coordinate with content creators, designers, and project managers to ensure smooth content execution and maintain consistency in brand communication.
9. Take ownership of assigned social media platforms and ensure they remain active, updated, and aligned with the organization's goals.
