About the job
What You'll Do
As one of the first Account Executives at SnapWrite, you'll play a critical role in building our go-to-market engine. This is a highly entrepreneurial role where you'll own the sales process from pipeline generation to closing customers while helping shape how we sell as a company. We are looking for someone with at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
Your responsibilities include:
- Build and own a pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and partnerships.
- Identify and engage brands, retailers, manufacturers, and strategic partners that are a strong fit for SnapWrite.
- Develop relationships with senior decision-makers across merchandising, eCommerce, product information, digital transformation, and operations teams.
- Lead discovery calls, product demonstrations, and solution discussions.
- Manage opportunities from first conversation through proposal, negotiation, contract signing, and customer handoff.
- Build and continuously improve SnapWrite's sales playbook, messaging, outreach strategies, and sales processes.
- Experiment with new outbound strategies and identify scalable ways to generate pipeline.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasting.
- Represent SnapWrite at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Work closely with the founders to refine positioning, pricing, partnerships, and go-to-market strategy.
- Help establish the foundation for a high-performing sales organization as the company grows.
What Success Looks Like
- Build a predictable pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Consistently generate meetings with ideal customers.
- Close new enterprise and mid-market customers.
- Develop repeatable sales processes that can scale as the team grows.
- Become a trusted advisor to prospects and long-term partners.
Eligibility
This position is supported by a grant. To be eligible, candidates must meet all of the following requirements:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
- Be a graduate of a post-secondary institution (university, college, CEGEP, or recognized technical institute).
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee status in Canada.
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada under the applicable provincial or territorial legislation.
- Be a first-time participant in a Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS) work experience program for post-secondary graduates.
- Be based in Toronto, ON or Montreal, QC, or be willing to relocate before their start date.
- Be available to work in person from our office.
