We are a fast-growing aerospace and autonomous systems company focused on developing next-generation UAVs, autonomous platforms, and defence technologies. We are seeking a highly motivated Design Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, analysis, and development of advanced aerospace systems.

*Key Responsibilities
*

• Design and develop mechanical and aerodynamic components for UAVs, aerospace structures, and related systems.
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using CATIA V5.
• Perform CFD simulations and flow analysis using ANSYS Fluent to optimize aerodynamic performance, thermal management, and airflow characteristics.
• Conduct design validation through engineering calculations, simulations, and prototype testing.
• Work closely with manufacturing, electronics, and systems engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and integration.
• Support prototype development, assembly, and testing activities.
• Prepare technical documentation including design reports, drawings, BOMs, and engineering change notes.
• Participate in design reviews and implement design improvements based on testing and operational feedback.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety requirements, and manufacturability considerations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Strong proficiency in CATIA V5 for part modelling, surface modelling, assembly design, and drafting.
• Hands-on experience with ANSYS Fluent for CFD simulations and aerodynamic analysis.

• Good understanding of engineering fundamentals, including:

  • Manufacturing Processes

• Experience in preparing and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.

• Familiarity with product development lifecycle from concept to prototype.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in UAV, aerospace, automotive, defence, or robotics industries.
• Knowledge of composite materials and lightweight structures.
• Exposure to FEA tools such as ANSYS Mechanical.
• Experience with wind tunnel testing, flight testing, or experimental validation.
• Familiarity with additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping techniques.
• Understanding of DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) principles.
