Full Stack Developer (MERN) – Freelance / Part-time

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer (MERN stack) to work with us on a freelance / part-time basis, fully remote. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning features end to end — from backend APIs to frontend interfaces — and contributing to product decisions in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

You’ll work closely with our product, design, and engineering teams to build scalable, reliable, and high-quality applications.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using NodeJS for the backend and React.js / Next.js for the frontend.
• Build and maintain scalable backend using NodeJS.
• Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers to translate requirements into functional features.
• Work on seamless integration between frontend, backend, and (where applicable) mobile platforms.
• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability across the stack.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing features to maintain reliability and responsiveness.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Review code and provide technical guidance to other developers when needed.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help improve existing codebases.
• Implement basic automated testing and ensure code quality.
• Design and manage database solutions using MongoDB (or similar document databases).
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic to deliver complete features.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong experience with backend development and modern frontend frameworks.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, freelance setup.
• Ability to take ownership of features and deliver with minimal supervision.
