Senior Full Stack Developer (Python Backend)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Python backend development and solid frontend capabilities to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and scaling modern web applications, with a strong focus on building robust backend systems using Python while also contributing effectively to frontend development.

As a senior member of the engineering team, you will work closely with product, design, and development teams to architect scalable solutions, improve system performance, and deliver seamless user experiences across web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web applications with a strong focus on Python-based backend systems
• Build and manage backend services, APIs, and business logic using FastAPI or similar Python frameworks
• Develop and maintain responsive frontend applications using React and modern frontend technologies
• Build reusable UI components and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and maintainability
• Manage frontend application state efficiently using Redux
• Create fast and optimized frontend builds using Vite
• Develop clean, responsive, and modern user interfaces using Tailwind CSS, HTML, and CSS
• Design and manage relational database schemas, queries, and performance optimization using PostgreSQL
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Lead backend architecture decisions, API design, database optimization, and integration strategies
• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve application performance across frontend and backend systems
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to best engineering practices
• Stay updated with the latest AI technologies, development tools, and industry trends
• Leverage AI tools and AI-assisted development workflows to improve productivity, code quality, and development speed
• Ensure application scalability, security, performance, and maintainability
• Contribute to deployment, release processes, and overall engineering excellence in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Python backend development
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI (or similar Python frameworks such as Django / Flask)
• Strong experience with React.js
• Hands-on experience with Redux
• Good understanding of Vite
• Strong knowledge of Tailwind CSS
• Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3
• Strong experience working with PostgreSQL
• Good understanding of REST APIs, backend architecture, and frontend-backend integration
• Experience in building scalable, high-performance, and secure web applications
• Familiarity with AI tools, AI-assisted development workflows, and the latest AI trends
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and system design skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership in a remote work environment
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with AWS services
• Knowledge of Docker
• Familiarity with Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Understanding of application monitoring, logging, and production debugging
• Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small engineering initiatives

Eligibility Criteria

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Full Stack Web Development
• Strong expertise in Python backend development and modern frontend technologies
• Prior experience in building and scaling production-grade applications
• Strong portfolio/projects showcasing full stack application development preferred
• Should be fluent with modern AI technologies and aware of the latest AI updates and trends
• Self-driven, responsible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment
