Senior Full Stack Engineer (Founding Team)

Job Description
-Own the engineering of core Zunio products alongside the founders, from architecture and implementation to production deployment and scaling.
-Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
-Develop robust backend APIs and intuitive frontend experiences.
-Build and integrate AI-powered features using LLMs, and third-party APIs.
-Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
-Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications on AWS.
-Support basic AWS infrastructure and production environments.
-Take ownership of features from concept to deployment and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
-4–6 years of experience building and shipping full-stack web applications.
-Strong hands-on experience building production backend systems in Python.
-Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
-Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot production applications on AWS.
-Hands-on experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
-Comfortable owning a product independently without day to day technical supervision.

Preferred Qualifications
-Exposure to LLMs, AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.), or AI application development.
-Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar coding assistants.
-Experience with common AWS services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3 or CloudFront is preferred.
-Experience integrating external APIs and learning new technologies quickly. Prior exposure to LLMs or AI applications is a plus.
-Experience with async task queues (Celery, RQ, or similar), core to how background jobs run.
-Previous experience at an early-stage startup.
