Analyst/Associate, OnChain Operations

Who You Are:

You are a crypto-native operations professional with genuine hands-on experience in the onchain economy; you have deployed capital into onchian lending protocols, managed leveraged positions, navigated liquidation risk, and executed transactions across multiple chains. You are equally comfortable operating within an institutional custody environment as you are diligencing a new protocol and automating different workflows. You thrive in fast-moving environments, take ownership during your time zone's hours, and treat operational gaps as problems to be solved rather than escalated

What You’ll Do:

• Execute and monitor onchain transactions during Asia hours via Fireblocks or comparable institutional-grade custody products, including lending, borrowing, LP deployments, and staking across Solana, EVM networks, and alternative layer one networks
• Serve as a primary HK-hours operator for Galaxy's onchain positions (responding to health factor alerts, managing collateral, and initiating unwinds when required)
• Configure and manage protocol watchlists in Hypernative or comparable on-chain monitoring and threat detection platforms; design and deploy custom monitors (including LTV proximity, oracle configuration, yield spread alerts)
• Conduct due diligence on new protocols and yield opportunities prior to deployment, evaluating smart contract risk, governance structure, liquidity, and historical incident history; summarize findings and risk considerations for internal stakeholders
• Contribute to onchain infrastructure builds in collaboration with our technology team (including automation pipelines, webhook-triggered execution services, and new chain integrations)
• Maintain documentation of onchain positions, protocol configurations, and operational procedures
• Embrace and champion the thoughtful adoption of AI to improve team performance and business outcomes.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms, data copilots) to improve productivity, decision-making, and output quality in your day-to-day work.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of hands-on DeFi experience (you have personally executed transactions across lending protocols, DEXs, and alternative onchain products)
• Familiarity with institutional DeFi risk concepts (health factors, liquidation thresholds, oracle risks, etc)
• Ability to query on-chain data via RPC, blockchain explorers, or data APIs experience with Python or similar tooling is a plus
• Familiarity with Fireblocks or comparable institutional custody platforms preferred
• Comfortable using LLMs (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) as a productivity tool for scripting, data analysis, and operational automation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to operate precisely in time-sensitive environments
• Self-starter who proactively identifies gaps in existing coverages and builds toward solutions
• Comfortable operating autonomously during HK hours with global teams across New York and London offline
• Effective communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders
