Solidity / EVM Developer Intern — Prediction Markets Startup

We are an early-stage Web3 startup building in the prediction market space. Our product is already live in production on BNB Chain, with more launches and protocol features planned.

We are looking for a developer intern with strong interest and practical ability in Solidity, EVM-based smart contracts, and full-stack software engineering. You will work directly with the founder and tech lead on real production systems, contributing to smart contracts, backend services, integrations, testing, and product infrastructure.

What You’ll Work On

• Developing and improving Solidity smart contracts for EVM-compatible chains
• Writing, testing, and reviewing production-grade smart contract code
• Integrating smart contracts with backend services and frontend applications
• Building tools, scripts, and infrastructure to support protocol operations
• Working on prediction market mechanics, trading logic, settlement flows, and oracle-related integrations
• Debugging, testing, and improving system reliability across the stack
• Collaborating directly with the founder and tech lead on technical and product decisions

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with Solidity and EVM smart contract development
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, wallets, transactions, gas, contract deployment, and security considerations
• Strong general software engineering skills
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
• Familiarity with tools such as Hardhat, Foundry, ethers.js, viem, or similar
• Comfortable working with Git, GitHub, APIs, and modern development workflows
• Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn quickly
• Interest in prediction markets, DeFi, crypto infrastructure, or trading systems

Nice to Have

• Experience deploying or interacting with contracts on BNB Chain or other EVM networks
• Familiarity with smart contract security patterns and common vulnerabilities
• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, or backend API development
• Understanding of oracles, market-making, AMMs, betting markets, or financial protocols
• Previous hackathon, open-source, or personal Web3 project experience

Compensation
This is an unpaid internship. For the right candidate, the role may develop into a full-time paid position as the company grows.
